Here are some books that can be very useful for coin and bank note collectors. A Guide Book of United States Coins by R. S. Yeoman by Golden Books Publishing Company. This "bible" of numismatics is highly recommended as it gives mintages and a lot of specifics not in another book.

Numismatic News by Krause Publications. A weekly numismatic publication. Has monthly coin trends that help keep abreast of current coin prices.

Coin World by Amos Press. A weekly numismatic publication. Has monthly coin trends also.

World Coins by Krause Publications. A great book for foreign coins and medals.

Collecting Paper Money for Pleasure & Profit by Barry Krause. Published by Betterway Books. A comprehensive guide for paper money collectors and investors.

American Numismatic Association (ANA)- The major coin association. A non-profit, educational association that has thousands of members. Membership ranges from $11 for a student to $29 for an adult). Applications can be requested at 818 N. Cascade Ave, Colour ado Springs, Co 80903 or by phone 800-367-9723. The ANA will also give you listings of local coin clubs in your area. In addition to your membership, you will receive, The Numismatist, the ANA's monthly publications, as well as access to seminars held at the ANA headquarters each year on numerous topics.
