American & European Art Pottery Price Guide by Kyle Husfloen. Published by Antique Trader Books. Describes 2,000 pieces of art pottery in detail. All major American and European producers are represented. Also includes more than 300 black and white photographs and provides background information on each manufacturer and the evolution of their work.

20th Century American Ceramics Price Guide by Susan N. Cox. Published by Antique Trader Books. Provides detailed information on 20th century American ceramic pieces and the companies who made them. Includes more than 2,000 individual listings with current values. More than 500 black and white photographs are illustrate the listings.

There are hundreds of excellent reference books available for every category of this large field. Ask other users about the best books for your particular area of interest in pottery, or check the eBay listings for titles that look promising.
