 Once a listing closes, no more bids are accepted and the highest bidder is declared the winner. One way to see if you won the item is to simply go to the Item Page and see which User ID  is listed as the winner. This can also be done through My eBay . In addition to this, eBay automatically sends the winning bidder an email shortly after the listing ends. Within this email, the winner is provided with the winning bid price and the seller's email address.

Remember, you can always contact your seller via email for further payment and postage instructions. The sellers email address is provided in the End-of-Auction email. Enter your shipping address During the Checkout process you will be asked to provide the seller with your complete postage address:
Pay or Request the Total If the seller has provided you with the final price, you can pay for the item. If not, request the total from the seller if Payment details have not been provided. In some cases, you may be able to edit the final price of an item. You may want to do this in cases where you want to use faster express postage or combine multiple items into one parcel (when purchasing from one seller). If you request the total from the seller, the seller will email you with instructions for completing payment.
Select Payment Method If you are ready to pay, you may select from the payment methods the seller has provided. With PayPal you can pay immediately through Checkout using a credit card or debit card. Your transactions with PayPal are safe, secure and fast! Remember, credit card payments are fully protected by your credit card company's fraud protection program.If you decide to use another payment method, eBay will send the seller an email with your postal address, payment information and any additional message you want to include. For cheque and postal order payments, Checkout will display the sellers mailing address. 
View the Checkout Summary The latest Checkout information is displayed on the Checkout Summary page, including payment details, your postal address, and the payment method you selected.

Placing a bid on eBay enters you into a legal obligation to purchase the item if you win the item. Your account could be terminated if eBay receives too many complaints, so it's important that you answer all emails and send payments in a timely manner.
