About IFAT IFAT is the International Fair Trade Association, the global network of Fair Trade Organisations.
These organisations contribute to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions to,
and securing the rights of, marginalized producers. Over 300 Fair Trade Organizations in 70 countries
form the IFAT network, all with a clear commitment to Fair Trade. Members represent the Fair Trade chain
from production to sale, including producer co-operatives, export marketing companies, importers, and
retailers. Find out more.
About the Fair Trade Foundation The FAIRTRADE Mark is a consumer label
that appears on products as an independent guarantee that producers in the developing world are
getting a better deal. The producers receive a minimum price that covers the cost of sustainable
production and an extra premium that is invested in social or economic development projects.
The Fairtrade Foundation licenses the FAIRTRADE Mark to products in the UK which meet the international
Fairtrade standards set by FLO. Find out more.
