Contacting Customer Support

If you need help, you can contact us. We'll be able to help you quickly by chatting with you online or through a quick phone call.

To contact us:
  1. Click the Contact us button on the upper right side of this page.

  2. You may be asked to sign in. (This helps us find your account information.)

  3. Select the topic that best matches your issue from the drop-down menu.

  4. We'll show a quick way to resolve your issue yourself, or we’ll show you the best way to contact us and when we're available.

  5. Click the Call us, Chat with us, or Email us link on the right side of the page.

  • We offer phone support for most issues. Selecting the topic that best matches your question will help us make sure your issue is resolved as quickly as possible.

  • Make sure that you use the phone number and PIN you're given. This ensures that we have the information we need when we talk to you.

  • Don't share the phone number with others. There are different phone numbers to contact different eBay Customer Support teams.

  • Please make sure you fill out the form completely and with as much detail as possible.

Things to keep in mind when contacting us

  • When contacting us, provide as many details as you can. Include dates, item number, user IDs, and any steps you took before asking your question.

  • If you have a general question about a particular transaction, please contact your buyer or seller before you contact us.

  • Depending on your specific issue or question, not all of the contact options may be available.

Important:

- You may need to disable your pop-up blocker to make sure you see all the information in customer support.

- Don't use the Was this page helpful? box at the bottom of this page to send your question or problem to eBay Customer Support. We won't be able to respond to your message. To contact us, make sure you follow the instructions below.

Sending information to Customer Support

Sometimes the Customer Support team may ask you for more information to resolve a problem on your account. For example, if you made a payment for your seller fees but it isn't shown on your account, we might ask you to send us a copy of your bank or card statement.

To send your documents to us, you can either:

  • Scan all of the documents and upload them for our review.

  • Fax your documents to us at +44 (0)20 7900 2011.

If you don't have access to a fax machine or a scanner, post your photocopies to us. The address to send them to is:
