If you forget your password, go to the Forgot Your Password page and enter your user ID. You'll need to answer your Secret Question (password hint question), and at least one other question related to your account to confirm that you're the account holder. If you can't remember any of the additional information, please contact us for help.

Tip: If you've forgotten both your user ID and password, first get your user ID from the Forgot User ID page.

We'll send an email to the registered email address for your eBay account. Copy the link in the email into a new browser window and choose a new password.

If your registered email address is no longer valid, you won’t be able to receive the "Forgotten Password" email. Please register again. If the system won’t let you register again, please contact us for help.

If you don't receive the password email, try checking your junkmail or spam folder. Make sure "eBay.co.uk" (or "eBay.ie") is on the "safe" list for your email program - if not, add it and request the "Forgotten Password" email again. Please also ensure you're checking the email account for the address you registered with your eBay account.
