What is eBay's policy regarding firearms?
eBay prohibits members from listing firearms, which includes all guns, ammunition and holsters.. Antique, collectable, and sport & hunting firearms will also be prohibited from being listed on eBay.

Are firearm and ammunition components allowed?
As always, any illegal items are prohibited from being listed on eBay.

Kits or other assembly of parts that are used to create a complete firearm are prohibited from listing on the site.

Are accessories allowed?
Yes, accessories such as literature and equipment (decoys, clothing, scopes, and so on) can still be listed on eBay. Members should list these items in the appropriate category. You may want to list permitted items in one of the following categories:

  • Miscellaneous: Sporting Goods: Hunting
  • Collectables: Western Americana
  • Collectables: Militaria

Are BB guns and air guns also not permitted?
As stated above, firearms include all guns and ammunition. As defined, a gun is "a weapon consisting of a metal tube from which a projectile is fired at high velocity." Therefore, items such as BB guns, air guns and other items fitting that description will also be prohibited from being listed on eBay by members.
