New to the Listings?

The number of items that are up for auction on eBay is tremendous. However, with these few tips on how the listings are organised, you'll soon become an expert user.

  1. Keep in mind when viewing the listings that items are listed chronological order, with the most recently listed items first. They are not sorted by the auctions' ending dates and times.
  2. A listing will move further down as new items are posted to that category. You may select to view auctions ending today, or even in the next few hours, by clicking on the appropriate link.
  3. Don't be surprised if you see closing dates and times that are repeated in a category. Sellers can select the length of their auction (3, 5, or 7 days) but auctions are added every hour only.
  4. For each item listing you will see information about the seller, the current price, an item description, pictures (if they exist), payment and shipping information, and more. To place your bid go to the bidding box (down at the very bottom).
