When you want to find something on eBay, Search is a powerful feature. You will find Search boxes on almost any page that has categories or listings on it.

1. Type key words that you would like to search on in the Search box.
2. Click the "Search" button.
3. The listings that match your keywords will appear as a list. These listings are unique to your search criteria. They do not represent a category.
4. You can search within the title of listings or also include a search on the item descriptions. Sometimes, you can click on a small box under the Search box to restrict your search to the category indicated.
5. You can also go to the Search area and find specific items. You can do a title search, similar to what you do using the regular Search box. You can search on auctions that are already completed (to see at what prices items are selling) or look up an item directly, if you know its item number. You can also search to see all the items that a person is selling or bidding upon.
