Bidding Overview

Bidding is meant to be enjoyable, but remember that each bid you place enters you into a binding contract. All bids are active until the auction ends. If you win an auction or use "Buy It Now", you’re obliged to complete the transaction. See the eBay User Agreement for details.

Before you place a bid, you’ll need to register. Registration is free and simple. Register now or learn more about registering.

Follow the links below to learn more about bidding on eBay:

Note: If you place a bid over £15,000 (or € equivalent) we'll ask you to supply a valid credit card number. This is so we can verify your age and your ability to pay for the item: eBay will not charge you for the item. If you win the item, you'll arrange payment with the seller in the usual way.

Ask Other eBay Members – the Community Answer Centre

You can get help from other eBay members by using the eBay Answer Centre. Designed for fast questions and answers rather than discussion, the Answer Centre is a member-to-member forum where eBay members can ask questions, give answers, and share information about eBay. You can also search for your answers from previous postings.
