Participation in the programme will give your listings additional exposure to buyers who need assurance that they can receive items in a clear timeframe. If you are not sure that you can consistently offer a quick turnaround then we recommend that you do not participate in the programme. If you sell an item through the Get It Fast programme and the buyer chooses not to use the expedited postage service that you offered as part of the programme, you are still obliged to dispatch the item within 1 working day.

The dates that are calculated and displayed on Get It Fast items are conditional on a quick payment to the seller. The seller is under no obligation to dispatch the item until they have received cleared funds from the buyer. If you are a buyer and want to pay for a Get It Fast item, we recommend that you choose a quick payment method. In case of any doubt, please contact the seller before purchasing the item to discuss delivery options.

Calculated dates are also determined using the published guidelines from each postal carrier or courier. Where there is a range of delivery dates (eg 1- 2 working days), eBay will calculate the likely date of arrival using the longest time it could potentially take.

Once sellers dispatch an item it is still possible that delays may occur, which are out of their control - part of the normal variability of postal services. PayPal is the fast, safe and easy way to pay sellers and receive prompt payment from buyers. eBay recommends that you consider paying with PayPal to ensure payment is received quickly and your item can be dispatched on time.

Personal Cheques
Many sellers prefer to wait until cheques have cleared and funds have been paid into their account before dispatching items. For this reason, eBay does not recommend that buyers pay by cheque if they're buying items listed under the Get It Fast programme. Please contact the seller before purchasing an item if you require quick delivery and intend to pay by personal cheque.
