Restricting your search to one category can avoid confusion and get you the results you want faster.

There are several ways to do a category-restricted search:

• In regular search, just select the category you want to search from the Search in Categories pull-down menu.
• In advanced search, select a category from the Category pull-down menu.
• On search results or browse pages showing listings of items from a particular category, the drop-down menu to the right of the search box shows your current category. If you want to change to a broader category (such as from Desktop PCs to Computing), or to a completely different high-level category (such as from Desktop PCs to Collectables), select the new category from the drop-down menu and click the Search button.
