Favourite Searches
Favourite searches is a part of My eBay - here you can save the searches you most frequently run and even get new results emailed to you.
To add a search to My Favourite Searches
- Run a search you want to save
- Click on the Add to Favourite Searches link at the top of the search results pages
- You can choose to receive email notification for up to 100 of your favourite searches
- You'll be notified by email only when new items appear and will receive up to 20 results per email
When you click on "Submit," your search will be saved to My Favourite Searches in My eBay.
To use a Favourite Search
Go to your Favourites page in My eBay and click on the search name.
To make changes to a Favourite Search
You can make changes to the search later if needed by going into your Favourites page in My eBay. Click on the "preferences" link to change the name, turn email notification on or off, or to change the email duration. Click on the "refine" link to modify the search criteria.
To delete a Favourite Search
If you wish to delete a favourite search go to your Favourites page in My eBay, select the box next to the search name and click on the "Delete" button.
To add a Want It Now Search
- First go to the Want It Now Home page
- Run a search you want to save
- Then click the "Add to Favourite Searches" link at the top of the page
- eBay will then send matching posts to you
Favourite Searches in Advanced Search
Once you have created favourite searches in My eBay, you may run up to 10 of your favourite searches from the Advanced Search area of the site. You must be signed in to view the favourite searches menu in Advanced Search. To run a favourite search from this menu, select the favourite search you want to run, and click the Go button next to the Favourite Search dropdown box
