The eBay Toolbar works with your Web browser to give you quick access to eBay. Use the eBay Toolbar to:
Find items using search options.
Check status of items you are watching or bidding on.
Protect your account information using Account Guard.
Use buttons for one-click access to the eBay page, My eBay, Shops, your Favourite Searches and Community.
To get started using the eBay Toolbar:
Review the computer system requirements (listed below) and download the eBay Toolbar from the eBay Toolbar page.
Computer system requirements are:
Browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01, 5.5, and 6.0
Operating systems:
Windows 98
Windows 98SE
Windows ME
Windows NT SP3+
Windows 2000
Windows XP
To uninstall the eBay Toolbar:
Click on the arrow to the right of the eBay icon on the eBay Toolbar.
From the drop-down menu, select the Uninstall eBay Toolbar option.
Sign in
Once you sign in, the eBay Toolbar will personalise and display your eBay information such as the items you've bid on and are watching.
Sign out
Please follow these steps:
In the eBay Toolbar, click on the arrow to the right of the eBay icon
From the drop-down menu, select the eBay Toolbar Sign Out option
For multiple users:
If more than one person is using your computer, the eBay Toolbar only issues alerts and gives information on items for the person who is logged into eBay. To enable another member to receive alerts relating to their account activities, you must sign out of the eBay Toolbar and get the other person to sign into eBay. If you do not want to allow other people to change your eBay Toolbar settings, you can lock it using the Customise button on the eBay Toolbar.
