1.	What is the £30,000 Giveaway?
	Throughout June we will be giving away £1,000 every day to someone who pays for an eBay item using eBay Payments. Whenever you make an eBay purchase between 12:00:01am BST on 1st June 2002 and 11:59:59pm BST on 30th June, 2002 using eBay Payments, you will be entered into our draw to win once you have emailed your Receipt of Payment and answered the tiebreak question. There will be a total of 30 prizes awarded, one each day. Each purchase during the promotion entitles you to an entry into the draw. The more you use eBay Payments the better your chances of winning.
2.	Who can participate?
	The promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over except employees (and their families) of eBay International AG ("eBay"), and any affiliates, subsidiary companies, as well as representatives or agents of those companies and anyone else who may be involved with the promotion. eBay reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
3.	What is the Promotional Period?
	The promotional period runs from 12:00:01am BST on 1st June 2002, to 11:59:59pm BST on 30th June 2002.
4.	What are the prizes?
	30 prizes of £1000 will be awarded. One for each day of the promotional period. Winners will be drawn daily and the entrant whose answer to the tiebreak question is deemed the best by the judge will be awarded £1,000. Winners will be contacted by email so please remember to include a contact email if it is different from your eBay email address.
5.	How do I enter?
	It's easy. Search for items listed with the eBay Payments feature as a payment option. After you win the item, contact the seller to let them know you will be paying with eBay Payments. Once you have paid you will receive a Receipt of Payment from Billpoint (the providers of eBay Payments). Then, you must email the receipt to eBaypaymentscompetition@ebay.com and include in the email the answer to the tiebreak question, which can be found at http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/buyerguide/ ep-promotion.html. You will then be automatically entered into the draw.
PLEASE NOTE: Only buyers completing payment using credit/debit cards through eBay Payments are eligible for entry into the competition. Buyers choosing to pay by cheque, cash or any other method will not be eligible to enter.
6.	How do I find items that offer eBay Payments?
	You can go to Smart Search and use keywords to find the items you are interested in. Also in the Search form you can also tick the box that says search for "Items Accepting eBay Payments" or look for the eBay Payments lock image in search results or in item descriptions.
7.	Do I have to register to use eBay Payments?
	No, as a buyer you do not have to register to pay for items using eBay Payments. However, if this is your preferred method of payment, we would suggest that you register your credit or debit card details to avoid having to input them every time you purchase an item. This will make completion of payment safer, secure and more convenient.
8.	I have won an item but the seller didn't offer eBay Payments as a method of payment. Can I still pay with eBay Payments?
	Yes. Ask the seller if you can pay for the item with eBay Payments. The seller will need to register with eBay Payments before they can accept your payment. You should be aware that there is currently a "FREE eBay Payments" Seller promotion running on eBay UK. Therefore Sellers may be more inclined to offer eBay Payments as a payment option.
9.	I am an international buyer, will I be eligible for this sweepstakes?
	No. The £30,000 Giveaway is only open eBay registered users who are UK residents. This competition is not available on any other eBay sites.
