What are Favourite Searches?
You can now store up to 15 of your Favourite searches in My eBay. For example, if you like musical instruments, you can store a "grand piano" or "Gibson guitar strings" search. You also have the option of being notified by email when new items appear in up to 3 of your Favourite searches. To store a search, all you have to do is click the link, "Save this Search," which will appear at the bottom of your search results page. Your search will then be stored in a "Favourite Searches" table in My eBay.
How can I find my Favourite Searches?
In addition to clicking on the "Save this Search" link at the bottom of your search results, you can:
- Click on the My eBay link at the top of any eBay page and choose the "Favourites" tab. The "Favourite Searches" table appears on the bottom half of the page.
- Click on the Search button in the Navigation Bar at the top of any eBay page. Then click on the "Favourite Searches" button underneath. This will take you to the Favourites tab of My eBay. The "Favourite Searches" table appears on the bottom half of the page.
What else can I do with my Favourite Searches?
Within the "Favourite Searches" table, you can choose to view your saved search, delete it, If you choose to receive email, you will receive messages ONLY when there are new items found. This means that you may or may not receive a daily email.
How does the email notification work?
Once you choose to receive email, we will continue to search for new items for a period of 90 days or until you decide you no longer want to receive email. At the end of the 90 days, you have the option to reactivate your search with email notification.
