Managing Disputes with Sellers

  • If you paid for your item using PayPal, use PayPal's Buyer Complaint Process to help resolve the problem.
  • If you paid for an item with a credit card, contact the credit card company to utilise their protection services.
  • Use our dispute resolution service to negotiate a solution with a third-party mediator such as SquareTrade, eBay's preferred dispute resolution provider.
  • Use eBay's Buyer Protection Programme to file a complaint and begin the process towards possible partial reimbursement.
