Buyer protection protects against items not received and items that are significantly different to the seller's item description. There are some conditions for protection: You must file a dispute within 45 days of payment, the item must be tangible (i.e. not a service or download) and your account must be in good standing. PayPal's dispute team will review your claim and may award up to £150. Items sold by eligible sellers may be covered up to £500. You can see how much your item is protected by checking the green PayPal box near the top of the item page. Read more about buyer protection on eBay. Back to top.
