What a good eBay Motors listing looks like
Selling your vehicle is easier if you prepare your listing properly. Reach as many potential buyers as possible by ensuring you have a great title, description and at least 6 photographs.

 Choose a Searchable Title
Include key search words in the title to enable buyers to find your vehicle fast. State the make and model, age, colour and any other attractive selling points, such as low mileage or immaculate bodywork.

 Fill in Vehicle Details
Let buyers see the details of your vehicle at a glance by filling in all Item Specifics.

 Give a Detailed Description
Include all the information that buyers need to decide to bid on your vehicle. Consider using bullet-pointed lists to show what features the vehicle has, such as sunroof, central locking, upholstery etc.

 Describe the Vehicle Condition
Be honest with potential buyers so that they know what to expect. Describe the exterior and interior condition in detail and cover the mechanical state of the engine and major components (including service history if available). Please review a checklist of all items to consider.

 Set your Terms of Sale
Mention deposits, collection & accepted payment methods, plus any warranties or guarantees offered.

 Include 6 to 12 Pictures
You're more likely to make a sale if you include clear, well-lit pictures of your vehicle from all angles - exterior and interior. Responsible sellers will also highlight any areas of damage to prevent nasty surprises on completing the transaction. You may include up to 12 pictures using eBay's Picture Services.
