You can customise your search and browse results pages to sort and display search results to fit your needs. For example, you can change your display settings so that search results are sorted by time left for a listing. You can save these settings so you don’t have to re-set them every time you sign in to eBay.
To customise your results page:
Search or browse for an item.
From the results page, click the Customise view link located above the list of items. The Customise your search window displays.
Click the link for the type of setting you want to change – Formatting, Item Information, Seller Information or Advanced Search Options.
Modify your settings. (For what each setting changes, see the descriptions of Search display options below.)
To restore the default (original) display settings:
Click the Customise view link.
Click the Restore defaults link.
Click the Apply Changes button.
Search display options
Here are some ways you can change the look of your search results page.
Under the Formatting section:
Available columns: A list of columns you don’t want to see. For example, if you don’t want to see “Time” in your search results, move that option to the Available columns box.
Columns to display: Columns you want to display on the results pages and the order you want them in. For example, if you want to show "P&P costs", move that option to the "Columns to display" box.
Use the up and down arrows to change the order of the options.
Show results in: Select an option for your default view. Select List view to see more listings, Picture Gallery to view items at a glance.
Show time in: Select the Time left format or Date format to view time remaining on an item.
Items per page: Select number of items you want displayed on a search results page.
Picture size: Sets the picture size to small, medium, or large.
Item title on its own row: Select this option to show the title above all the other specifics, which is helpful if you’re viewing on a small screen.
Under the Item information section:
Item number: Display the eBay item number.
Watch this item: Displays the Watch this item link on each listing on the page. This allows you to add an item to your watch list in My eBay. (Does not include eBay Shop inventory listings.)
Item location: Display the item's location. You can show the item's distance from you, as well as show the item's city, state, or country location.
Under the Seller information section:
Shop name: See the seller’s Shop name (if applicable). Clicking the Shop Name takes you to that store.
Seller User ID: See the seller's user ID for each item.
Seller feedback: Show the seller's feedback rating.
Under the Advanced options section:
Sort order: Show results in a particular sort order. Sort your results by Best Match, time, price, payment method, distance, or country/region (options vary by eBay site).
You can select to show the time listed for the items being sorted.
Convert prices to UK £: Select whether to show prices and P&P costs in an item's listed currency or to convert all prices into UK £.
