If you frequently search for the same items on eBay, you can save those searches to your Favourite Searches page in My eBay, and then search for those items whenever you choose. Saving your Favourite Searches saves you time because you don’t have to re-enter the same information again and again.
You can also access up to three of your most recently added Favourite Searches on the Home page, under the search box.
You can save a Basic Search, an Advanced Search, or even a Want It Now search.
Once you save a Favourite Search, you can:
Edit your Favourite Search
Delete your Favourite Search
You can save up to 100 of your Favourite Searches. When saving your search, you can choose to have new results sent to you by email. You'll be notified by email only when new items are listed, and you will receive up to 20 results per email.
Search for an item using a Basic Search, an Advanced Search, or a Want It Now search.
From your search results, click the “Save this search” link located above your search results.
In the Name this search text box, keep the suggested search name or enter a new name for your search.
If you'd like to receive email notification when new items are listed, select the length of time that you'd like to receive the email notifications from the drop-down list. (The tick box for receiving email notification is selected by default.) For example, to receive an email of new listings every day for the next 6 months, select the tick box and choose 6 months.
Click the Save button. Your search is saved to your Favourite Searches in My eBay.
If you want to change the search criteria of a Favourite Search, you can do so at any time. For example, you might want to change the search name, turn email notification on or off, or to change the length of time that you receive email notification.
Go to My eBay.
On the left side of the page, under All Favourites, click the "Searches" link.
Find the search you want to edit, and click the “Edit Search” link to the right of the search.
Edit the information as needed.
Click the Save button.
If you would prefer to hide your Favourite Searches on the Home page, you can disable this feature.
Go to My eBay, and click the "Preferences" link under My Account on the left side of the page. Scroll down to the General Preferences section, and click the "Show" link next to My eBay. Clear the tick box next to the "Show my Favourite Searches on the home page search area" option, and click the Apply button.
You can delete a Favourite Search if you no longer need it or if you want to replace it with another one.
Select the tick box next to the search that you want to delete.
Click the Delete button.
