Managing Buying and Watch Lists with My eBay

You can view and manage all of your eBay buying activities from a central location — the My eBay All Buying page.

For example, you can:

View Buying Reminders

At the top of the My eBay page you'll see the Buying Reminders section, which is like a to-do list for your eBay buying activities. Buying reminders tell you how many items you still need to pay for, how many of the listings you're watching are ending soon, how many transactions are still awaiting your Feedback.

To view buying reminders:

  1. Go to My eBay and log in if required.

  2. Click the “All Buying” link in the left-hand navigation.

  3. (Optional) Click a buying reminder link in the Buying Reminder section. For example: Suppose that you click the “I need to pay for 3 items” link. The I've Won section appears, where you can pay for those items.

Managing Items You’re Watching

With My eBay, you can track up to 100 items that you're interested in. You can add an item to your Items I’m Watching list, delete an item from your Items I’m Watching list, and add a note to an item you’re watching, bidding on, or that you have won.

To manage items you’re watching:

From the left column of My eBay, under All Buying, click the "Watching" link and do any of the following:

  • To view particular items that you’re watching, from the upper left corner of the Items I’m Watching view, choose All, Active, or Ended.

  • To add an item to your Items I’m Watching list, click the “Watch this item“ link from the top right of any item listing page.

  • To delete an item from your Items I’m Watching list, select the tick box in front of the item title, and click the Delete button.

  • To add a personal and private note to an item, from the appropriate view, select the checkbox for the item, click the Add Note button, type your note, and click the Save button. Learn more about adding a note to an item.

Managing Items You’re Bidding on

You can view all items you're currently bidding on at eBay. Items you're currently winning are green and bold; items you've been outbid on are red.

To see all of the items you're bidding on, or just those that you are winning or are not winning, using the links in the upper left corner of the Items I'm Bidding on view.

Note: After a listing ends, it will automatically move to the Items I've Won or Items I Didn't Win view. You cannot delete an active item that you’ve been outbid on until the listing ends.

Managing your Bid Assistant groups

With Bid Assistant you can create a group of items you’re interested in, set your maximum bids, and have Bid Assistant bid on your behalf until you win one item from the group.

Note: Bid Assistant is currently available to users with a Feedback Score of 5 or more.

To manage your Bid Assistant groups from My eBay, from the left column of My eBay, click the “Bid Assistant” link under All Buying. Select the Bid Assistant group you want to view from the “Display group” menu in the upper left corner.

Items are listed in chronological order, starting with the item that ends first. Items that you have lost will have “Ended” in the Time Left column. The item that you are currently bidding on will be noted as “Current bid” and will be highlighted. Items that you are scheduled to bid on will be noted as “Pending."

To edit your maximum bid on an item in your group:
  1. From the left column of My eBay, click the “Bid Assistant” link under All Buying.

  2. Click the "Increase Max Bid" link next to the item you want to edit.

  3. On the Place Bid page, enter your new maximum bid. Click the Continue button.

  4. Review and confirm your new maximum bid, and click the Confirm Bid button.

To delete an item from your group:
  1. From the left column of My eBay, click the “Bid Assistant” link under All Buying.

  2. Select the check box next to the item you want to remove from your group, then click the Delete button.

Note: If you are currently bidding on an item, you cannot delete it from your group or decrease your maximum bid. However, you can always increase your maximum bid.

Managing Items You’ve Won

You can view all your recent purchases at eBay and see the payment and feedback status at a glance on the Items I’ve Won view.

You can:
Use the buttons and links under the Action column to take the next action to complete your purchases.
Use the Period menu in the upper right corner to select the time period for the items you want to display.

The icons in the right columns quickly show you if:
You've paid for the item.
You've left feedback for the seller of the item.
You've received feedback from the seller of the item, and whether the feedback was positive (showing a plus), neutral, or negative (showing a minus).

If the icon is blue, it means you’ve completed the action. If the icon is grey, it means you haven’t completed the action.

You can use the links in the upper left corner of the Items I've Won view to see all items you've won, or just those that are awaiting payment or are awaiting feedback.

Note: If you accidentally remove an item from your Items I’ve Won list, you can retrieve the item.

Tracking Items You Didn’t Win

If you bid on an auction that ended, and you didn't win the item, the listing will appear in My eBay under the All Buying, Items I Didn't Win view.

You can view a list of the items you didn’t win, search for other items from the same seller or for related items, and if the seller relists the item, view the relisted item. You can also post a request for the item in Want It Now.

To track items you didn’t win:

From the left column of My eBay, click the “Didn’t Win” link under All Buying, and do any of the following:

  • To see other items offered by the same seller, click the “View seller’s other items” link.

  • If the item you didn’t win is relisted by the seller, in the Action column, click View Relisted Item to see the item.

  • To search for similar items, in the Search box at the top of the page, enter your keywords.

Note: If you accidentally remove an item from your Items I Didn’t Win list, you can retrieve the item.

Viewing your buying activity by seller

From the All Buying page, you can sort your buying activity by seller. Information is available for the last 60 days.

You can choose to see All Activity from a seller, or just Current Activity. Current Activity includes active items in your Items I’m Watching list, items in your Items I’m Bidding On and Items I Made Best Offers On lists, and unpaid items in your Items I’ve Won list.

You can also add a seller to your Favourite Sellers list and view the seller’s other items.

To view your buying activity by seller:
  1. From the left column of My eBay, click the “All Buying” link.

  2. Select a seller from the “View by Seller” drop-down menu. Sellers are listed alphabetically.
