You can add a private note to any item in your My eBay view.
Notes are helpful for reminding yourself about:
Sellers you’ve enjoyed buying from
A gift item you're thinking about buying
Free shipping for an item you're bidding on
A question you have for the seller
Your opinion of the description and photo of the item
You can add a note in the Watching, Bidding, Won, Didn't Win, Scheduled, Selling, Sold, and Unsold views. Your notes are associated with items throughout the buying or selling process, and only you can see your notes. Once you add a note, you can edit the note or delete it.
Note: You cannot add a note if you are using My eBay as a guest.
From any of the My eBay views mentioned above, select the tick box next to the item to which you want to add a note.
Click the Add Note button.
In the My Note box, type your note (up to 250 characters), and click the Save button.
You can edit any note that you added.
Go to the page that includes your note.
Click the Edit link to the right of the note.
In the My Note text box, edit the note as needed, and click the Save button.
You can delete any note you added.
Click the Delete link.
