About the eBay Answer Centre

You can get quick help from other eBay members by using the eBay Answer Centre. Designed for fast questions and answers rather than discussion, the Answer Centre is a member-to-member forum where eBay members can ask questions, give or receive answers and share information about eBay.

There are a lot of different topic areas within the Answer Centre, so choose the one that best fits the question you have. The Answer Centre includes forums on My eBay, Searching, PayPal, Technical Issues, Turbo Lister, Trust & Safety and much more.

Note: Anyone can browse the eBay Answer Centre to read questions and answers; however, to post a new question or reply to an existing one you must be a registered eBay member.

To use the Answer Centre:

Click the Community button at the top of the page.
Under the Connect section, click Answer Centre.
Click the topic that interests you. You’ll see a list of the questions relating to that topic.
To see if someone has asked the same question that you have, scroll through the questions or use the search box to find the question then click the “View Answers” link to see the answers.
To vote whether the answer was helpful or not, click the Yes or No button next to “Was this answer helpful?”

To ask a question:

Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click the Login button to log in to eBay.
Under List of Questions, click the “Ask New Question” link.
Type the subject and type your question.
To spell check your question, click the Spell Check button.
To receive an email alert when someone responds to your question, select the “Watch this question” tick box.
To preview your question, click the Preview button.
To post the question, click the Post Message button.
