How eBay and PayPal Work Together

eBay Inc. owns PayPal, but in some ways, they remain independent. This means that, while your PayPal and eBay accounts work together, they are still managed separately. In some cases, certain things can only be done at PayPal.co.uk.

To use PayPal when you buy and sell on eBay, there are a few steps you need to take first:

  1. If you want to sell on eBay and accept PayPal payments, you'll also need to accept PayPal on your eBay listings. You might also want to consider upgrading your PayPal account.
