We’re pleased to inform you that the Royal Mail workers’ union (the CWU) has announced that the current industrial action has been suspended and that normal postal services will resume immediately.
Royal Mail has confirmed it is committed to delivering all the mail entrusted to itand has informed us that any backlog of mail will be cleared early the week of 8 November. After that mail deliveries will be back to normal.
In the meantime, the temporary removal of the dispatch time rating from Detailed Seller Ratings still remains. We will inform you in advance about when it will be reinstated.

Advice to buyers
Shop with confidence on eBay with the assurance from Royal Mail that items you purchase will be delivered. Since 22 October, approximately 80% of Royal Mail post was delivered within 4 days and it expects that over 99% will be delivered within 7 days*. If your item is being handled by Royal Mail then we recommend you stay in touch with your seller during the delivery period. When providing feedback on a purchase, please bear the impact of the industrial action in mind.
