How do I pay for my item?
Every seller is unique and could accept different payment methods. Carefully read the item description before you bid to find out what methods the seller accepts.
Use the Pay Now button
Regardless of which payment method you are using, clicking on the Pay Now button is the fastest way to pay on eBay. The Pay Now button will appear after you win an item on the item page, in My eBay, and in the confirmation email you receive from eBay.
Pay with PayPal
PayPal is a quick and easy way to pay for items on eBay. PayPal offers many options for paying the seller, including credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts, and electronic checks. If the seller for your item offers PayPal, you can click the Pay Now button to review your purchase and then pay immediately with PayPal. Your seller will be notified instantly of your payment.
Sending a cheque or money order
If you want to send a cheque or money order (and your seller accepts these payment methods), you will receive detailed payment instructions after you've clicked the Pay Now button, reviewed your purchase, and sent your information to the seller. This process will give you the address to send your payment and send an email to the seller that confirms you are going to send payment in the way you've chosen.
Tip: Bid on or buy items where the seller accepts payment methods that you want to use. If you want to pay by credit card and the seller states "money orders only," you might not want to bid on the item.
Note: You are only obliged to pay the seller using one of the payment methods specified in the eBay listing. If the seller wants to change payment methods after the listing has ended, you may insist on paying through the method stated in the listing.
