eBay does not permit the sale of bulk email, Internet Protocol (IP), Instant Messenger (IM), or mailing lists that contain names, addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifying information. Any tools or software designed predominantly to send unsolicited commercial messages (UCE or "spam") will not be permitted.
Breaches of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:
Listing cancellation
Limits on account privileges
Account suspension
Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings
Loss of PowerSeller status
National Insurance Numbers: eBay does not permit the sale of items containing the national insurance number of any living person and does not allow listings that show personal information of third parties such as addresses and telephone numbers.
National Insurance Numbers (deceased persons): Items that contain national insurance numbers of deceased persons, such as genealogy related software or antique national insurance cards, may be listed. Listings of items that include a national insurance number, such as old national insurance cards or old records, must specifically state that the numbers do not belong to any living person.
