Recalled Items

eBay strongly supports the efforts of government consumer protection organisations to protect consumers against potentially hazardous goods.

If you're a seller on eBay, you should check with government authorities to ensure that the products you're selling have not been the subject of a recall. And if you're a buyer, educate yourself about recalled products in areas that you might be doing some bidding. As a first step in your research in this area, you may wish to consult the site of the UK Trading Standards Office.

Sellers in the Republic of Ireland may wish to consult the Irish eGovernment website, Oasis for further information.
