One day listings are normally used when you want to sell an item quickly and an item is time sensitive such as concert tickets or holiday packages.

• If you're a high volume seller listing a lot of identical items. With 1-day listings, you can offer more listings for identical items per week than with any other auction-format listing duration. Currently eBay allows you to list only 15 identical items simultaneously. If you are a high volume seller, the 1-day listing format lets you offer up to 105 listings for identical items per week, compared to only 30 per week with the 3-day listing format.

• If you want to attract more last-minute shoppers during the holiday season. You can schedule 1-day listings as close to the holiday event as possible. This gives you the advantage of being able to dispatch sold items to reach your buyers in time for the holiday event.

What are the seller requirements for a 1-day listing?
For a 1-day listing you must have a feedback score of 10, or if you have a PayPal account and accept PayPal as a payment method, a feedback score of 5.

Can I change the duration of a 1-day listing?
You cannot change the duration of a 1-day listing if 2 or more hours have passed since you submitted the listing.

How soon will a 1-day listing appear on eBay?
Listings and Gallery pictures are updated throughout the day. However, if you've listed or re-listed an item in the past few hours, or changed its title, your listing may not be immediately searchable when using a keyword or category search, until several hours after you've changed it. Note: To make your listings searchable at a specific time, you may want to schedule them a day in advance. Although your listings will generally be searchable within 24 hours, for Trust and Safety reasons, there are times when this may take longer.
