eBay for Charity Fee Credit Policy

You can support your favourite cause by taking part in eBay for Charity. You can donate 10% to 100% of the final sale price of an item to a certified charity. Charities can also participate in eBay for Charity.

Listings stand out with a distinctive charity ribbon, and receive added visibility through specialised search functionality. Learn more about eBay for Charity.

In the spirit of giving, eBay rewards your generosity by offering the eBay for Charity Fee Credit Policy. When you create a listing with eBay for Charity and that item sells, eBay will credit the basic Insertion and Final Value Fees back to you, equal to the percentage of the final sale price that you chooses to donate.

Example A: Seller lists a camera on eBay and chooses to donate 30% of the final sale price to a charity.

Additional Information: 

  • Only listings created with eBay for Charity qualify for the fee credit (all charity listings not created with eBay for Charity will not be eligible, but must comply with eBay's Charity Listing Policy).

  • An item must sell in order to prompt a fee credit.

  • Fee credits must equal at least £0.01 to be processed.

  • Reserve fees and optional feature fees are not included in the fee credit.

  • Shop Inventory items are eligible.

  • Both items sold by the eBay community and items sold directly by charities are eligible.
