Fees for selling on eBay
When you sell on eBay, there are 3 types of fees:
Insertion fees
This fee is paid whenever you list an item on eBay, even if it doesn't sell
The insertion fee varies, depending on the listing format you choose and the category you list the item under
Final value fees
When your item sells, you'll be charged a final value fee that's based on a percentage of the item's final selling price
You'll only pay this fee when your item sells
Feature fees
This fee is only paid if you select optional features to increase your chances of a successful sale, e.g. international site visibility, subtitle or picture pack
Total cost of selling item = Insertion fee + Final value fee + Feature fees (if any)
Note: Stated eBay fees include 15% VAT for residents of the EU. Invoices sent to you will quote fees with VAT included. Find out why we use the Luxembourg rate of VAT
