Changing Your Gallery Picture

Gallery pictures are usually created within minutes of being submitted, but may take up to several hours at peak times. If your Gallery picture is not being displayed in search results within a few hours of when you submitted your listing or if you’ve received an email from eBay indicating a problem with your Gallery picture, you may want to resubmit or change your Gallery picture.

To change your Gallery picture:

  1. Go to the Change Your Item’s Gallery Picture page.

  2. Enter the item number of the listing you want to change, and then click the Continue button.

  3. In the Change Gallery picture section, select Stock photo, eBay Picture Services, or Gallery picture web address.

    • If you selected eBay Picture Services, select the picture you want to use as your Gallery picture.

    • If you selected Gallery picture Web address, enter the Web address for your picture. Supported picture formats include JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP, and TIF. All formats are converted to JPG when saved on eBay.

  5. Click the Change button.

  6. Review your new Gallery picture.

  7. If you are finished making changes, click the Save Changes button.

Note: The recommended size for the picture you submit is 640 pixels on the longest side. Source pictures with smaller dimensions can be used, but may result in lower quality Gallery pictures.
