Tips for Listing with Checkout

Use Checkout to help your buyers pay faster and send less emails.

  • Specify payment details.   Specify all payment details such as postage and packing, insurance, tax/VAT etc. when you list the item
  • List with PayPal. PayPal is the easiest way for buyers to pay. Items listed with PayPal have lower Unpaid Item rates. You will also get your money faster.
  • Specify payment instructions.   Your payment instructions will be displayed to your buyer when they select their payment method. If you have any special instructions for your buyers, this will help bring it to their attention.
  • Specify postage discounts. If you offer postage discounts, you can automate them so that Checkout will automatically calculate these discounts for your buyers. This will also be promoted to buyers during Checkout to encourage additional purchases.
