Tips and Strategies to Get the Most Out of your eBay Store

Listing strategies: recommended listing mix of Auction-style, Fixed Price & Store Inventory Listings

Listing in different formats is the best way to get buyers to discover your Shop. Make sure you list in all three types of formats: Auction-style, Fixed Price and Store Inventory to get different types of exposure on eBay.

The ideal listing format breakdown depends on several factors, such as the type of inventory you sell. For example:

  • Unique/Hard-to-find Items
We suggest higher levels of Auction-Style & Fixed Price items to attract demand.

  • Accessories
We suggest a roughly-even split of Auction-Style, Fixed Price & Shop Inventory

  • Accessories with lots of variations, such as t-shirts sold in different sizes
We suggest a higher level of Shop Inventory
