Using Your Shop Listing Header

Your Shop listing header is a great way to build your eBay Shop's brand and drive more traffic to your Shop, because it appears at the top of the item description in all of your current listings as well as your future listings.

Key elements in a Shop listing header

Your Shop listing header always includes your Shop name, a link to your Shop's home page, and your Shop's colors. You can also include:

  • Your Shop logo
  • A search box that enables buyers to search your Shop
  • A link that enables buyers to add you to their favorite sellers
  • A link that enables buyers to sign up for your email marketing newsletters
  • Links to your custom categories, custom pages, and About Me page (up to a maximum of 5 links)

Note: You cannot edit your Shop name, Shop link, and Shop colors in your Shop listing header.

Creating or editing your Shop listing header.

To create or edit your Shop listing header:
  1. Go to My eBay and log in if required.
  2. Click the "Manage My Shop" link in the left-hand navigation.
  3. Click the "Listing Template" link in the left-hand navigation.

Previewing your Shop listing header

If you've chosen to display your Shop listing header, click the "Preview your custom listing template" link on the Custom Listing Template page.

Displaying your Shop listing header

To display your Shop listing header, you can select either of the following options that appear on the Custom Listing Template page.

  • "Show my Shop listing header in my listings"
  • "Show my Shop listing header and the left-navigation bar in my listings"
