Marketplace Policy Tutorial

Go backPrevious

Thank you. You've now completed the Marketplace tutorial.

Here's an overview of what you will have learned:

  • As a good community member, you need to abide by some rules – we hope that you will take the time to familiarise yourself with them when in doubt

  • Policy breaches often happen due to lack of awareness or understanding. To avoid actions being taken against your account, eBay strongly encourages its members to read its policies as each member is responsible for ensuring their account complies with all eBay rules

  • Please continue to report listing breaches to us so we can continue to create a safe marketplace

  • Information on policies can be found

    • At the bottom of the eBay home page, “Policies” link

    • By searching Help

Please remember that breaching an eBay policy may result in a range of actions, including:

  • Listing Cancellation

  • Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings

  • Limits on account privileges

  • Loss of PowerSeller status

  • Account suspension

If you have any more questions about the eBay marketplace, please see eBay's help pages.
