What about Billpoint?
- In early February 2003 - Billpoint will be removed as a payment option for all new Auction-style and Fixed Price listings on eBay.co.uk. At that time, you will no longer be able to list with Billpoint as a payment option on the Sell Your Item form or third party listing tools. The Billpoint payment option will no longer be available for any new, re-listed, or pending listings created after early February.
- In late March 2003 - At this time, Billpoint will cease to support the General Invoice function for eBay transactions. Sellers will no longer be able to request payments through Billpoint.
- In mid-April 2003 - The Billpoint refund function will be removed. Billpoint sellers should issue all remaining refunds prior to 15th April 2003. After 15th April 2003, sellers will not be able to refund any payments through Billpoint.
- On 30 April 2003 - The www.billpointuk.com site will be shut down. Access to the Billpoint Account Summary will no longer be available. You should download a copy of your Billpoint sales and deposit history if you wish to keep a record of your transactions. Billpoint customer inquiries after 30th April may be sent to customercare@billpointuk.com. This mailbox will be re-directed to another eBay help desk.

PayPal accounts will NOT be automatically created for Billpoint users, so if you do not have a PayPal account we encourage you to register now. Your Billpoint Account History Will Be Available Until 30th April, 2003 With the above changes, Billpoint will effectively complete its removal on eBay.co.uk at the end of March 2003. The Billpoint site (www.billpointuk.com) and Billpoint staff will be here until the end of April 2003 to support your post-sale payment activities. Until then, you can log into your Billpoint account to download sales history, check deposit status, and issue refunds.
