What is the PayPal Switch and Solo Savings Promotion?
The PayPal Switch and Solo Savings Promotion is a limited-time offer allowing members to save money when they send or receive payments funded with a Switch or Solo debit card. If you are a Seller, you can receive payment for eBay.co.uk items for FREE when the buyer funds the PayPal payment using a Switch or Solo debit card. If you are a Buyer, you can earn 1% cash back when you send a PayPal payment for an eBay.co.uk purchase using your Switch or Solo debit card.

When does the Promotion start and end?
PayPal's Switch and Solo Savings Promotion ("Promotion") begins at 00:00:00 BST on 1st May 2003 and ends at 11:59:59 BST on 31st May 2003 (the "Promotion Period"). Due to the extension of the Promotion Period, the promotion will now end at 11:59:59 BST on 30th June 2003.

Who is eligible to participate in the Promotion?
The Promotion for Sellers is open to PayPal members in good standing who: (1) hold either Premier or Business accounts and (2) reside in the United Kingdom.

Which payments are eligible for free fees?
Payments eligible for free fees are those that are (1) sent by a buyer residing in the UK, (2) for eBay.co.uk purchases (identifiable by eBay Item Number), and (3) are partially or entirely funded by a Switch or Solo debit card. Payments from buyers outside the UK are not eligible for the promotion.

Can Personal Accounts participate in the promotion for sellers?
Personal Account holders will be able to participate in the promotion for sellers only after they upgrade to a Premier or Business Account.

How will I know if a payment is funded using a Switch or Solo debit card?
Whenever you receive a payment that is partially or entirely funded by a Switch or Solo debit card, the transaction fee will be displayed as £0.00; no fee will be deducted from your PayPal account.

Is there a limit to the number of Switch and Solo-funded payments I can receive?
No, there is no limit to the number or amount of Switch- and Solo-funded payments you can receive.

If a payment is only partially funded by a Switch or Solo debit card, will transaction fees be waived for the entire payment?
Yes, receiving fees will be waived for the entire payment as long as the payment is at least partially funded with a Switch or Solo debit card.

Can I earn free fees if the buyer sends me payment in a non-Sterling currency?
Yes. Transaction fees are waived even if the buyer sends you a payment in a non-Sterling currency, as long as payment is for an eBay.co.uk item and is funded by a Switch or Solo card,

How do I add a Switch or Solo debit card to my PayPal account?
To add a Switch or Solo debit card to your PayPal account, just go to your Profile and select "Credit Cards". On the Credit Card page, click on "Add" and enter your debit card details.
