Terms and Conditions

On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September 2012 (local UK time), eBay.co.uk registered private sellers who have never listed an item for sale on ebay.co.uk before can make their first 5 listings on eBay.co.uk and pay no fees when listing in an eligible category. Promotion is open only to sellers who have not listed an item before on ebay.co.uk. If you have listed items before but not sold them, you will not be eligible for this promotion.

Items listed using professional tools, such as (but not limited to), Turbo Lister and Selling Manager Pro, are excluded. Items will only be eligible for this promotion if they are listed with the Quick Sell (EasyLister) or Advanced Sell (Sell Your Item) forms or the eBay iPhone, eBay iPad, eBay Android, eBay Blackberry and eBay Windows Phone applications.

To take part in this promotion, sellers must be registered as resident in the UK.

Saturday 29 September from 00:00:01 until Sunday 30 September 2012 23:59:59 local UK time (promotional period).

• The promotion is valid for the first 5 listing only, on eBay.co.uk using the Auction-style, Auction-style with Buy It Now option, or Fixed Price formats, in an eligible category.
• No fees are payable, including the Insertion Fee, Final Value Fee, and optional upgrade features fees such as Reserve Price, Gallery Plus, Subtitle, Additional Pictures, Picture Packs etc.
• At the point of listing, the Insertion Fee, Final Value Fee, and fees for Additional Pictures, Picture Packs, the Buy It Now option for Auction-style listings, and Reserve Price are not charged.
• Due to technical issues, all other fees will be initially charged but credited back to the seller's account on the next billing cycle after the promotion period ends. The billing cycle will depend upon your account but will normally be on either the 1st or the 15th of each month
• For items listed in two categories, the insertion fee for the first category will be free at the point of listing. The insertion fee for the second category will initially be charged  to the seller's account but credited back.
• Only items listed with the Quick Sell or Advanced Sell (Sell Your Item) forms, or the eBay iPhone, eBay iPad, eBay Android, eBay Blackberry or eBay Windows Phone applications.
• The Quick Sell (EasyLister) form allows for Auction-style or Auction-style with Buy It Now option only. All other forms, selling tools and eBay mobile applications will enable Auction-style, Auction-style with Buy It Now option, and Fixed Price listings.
• All first 5 listings must go live during the promotional period to be eligible. The listings can be created and listed during the promotional period or created before but scheduled to go live during the promotional period.
• Only Private Sellers registered on eBay,co.uk as resident in the UK are eligible.

• Business Sellers are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
• PowerSellers are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
• All items listed with professional tools, such as (but not limited to) "Turbo Lister" and "Selling Manager Pro" are excluded from this promotion.
• All items listed in the "Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles" category. (However items listed in the “Vehicle Parts & Accessories” category are included.).
• Items listed in the "Property" category.
• Items listed in the Classifieds format
• Identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy.
• Any items listed which do not comply with eBay's Listing Policies or Prohibited and Restricted Items Policies.
• Any item listed during the promotional period but scheduled to start after the promotional period does NOT qualify for the promotion.
• You will only pay no fees for the first 5 listings. Any subsequent listings will be charged standard fees according to the eBay Fees Policy.

Members listing using the Auction-with-Buy It Now format will still be charged the Listing Upgrade Fee for Buy It Now.

• You will only pay no eBay fees on the first 5 listings. PayPal and any other third party fees still apply.
• Participation in this promotion does not exclude a seller from any other eBay price promotions (such as a Zero Insertion Fee promotion) that may coincide (wholly or partially) with the promotional period of this promotion, provided the seller is eligible for that promotion as well.

• eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.
• eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards. Sellers should confirm eligibility by checking their account status on My eBay.
• The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
