Seller Voucher Promotion -Terms and Conditions

The prize is an eBay gift voucher worth £25 ("the prize").

1. This Seller Voucher Promotion ("Promotion") is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over registered on www.ebay.co.uk (the "site") as private sellers who receive an e-mail from eBay inviting them to participate in the Promotion. Only private accounts are eligible. The Promotion is by invitation only and this invitation cannot be forwarded or passed on to anyone else. The Promotion begins at 00:00:01 May 9, 2012 and finishes at 23:59:59 May 30, 2012 GMT ("Promotional Period")
2. To enter the Promotion, entrants must list and sell at least one (1) item on the site during the Promotional Period in any category other than Vehicles or Property. The item cannot be sold via the 30 day Buy It Now format or the Good ‘Til Cancelled format. The listing must be created within the Promotional Period. Listings created earlier but set to go live during the Promotional Period will not be included. The act of both listing and selling an item on the site within the Promotional Period will be referred to as the "qualifying activity".
3. One prize per person. Each entrant who completes the qualifying activity ("eligible entrant") will receive a prize.
4. Your eBay account must be in good standing, including feedback not below zero and no overdue fees during the Promotional Period. eBay reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
5. Opt out of entry: If you do not wish to be entered into the Promotion, please send an email to eBay Loyalty Team, which contains: a) the words "Opt-out of Seller Voucher Promotion" in the subject box; b) your eBay User ID; and c) your request to opt out of the Promotion.
6. The prize:
   
   1. Each eligible entrant will receive a prize.
   2. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be substituted. There is no cash alternative.
   3. Additional restrictions may apply with respect to the prize. These will be mentioned when you are sent the prize.
   4. The prize can be used only where you are paying with and the seller accepts PayPal.
7. The eligible entrants will receive the prize by email (to the current registered email address provided to eBay) within two weeks after the end of the Promotional Period. The prize may be used immediately once it is received. It must be redeemed within 10 days from when it is received (the 10 days includes the day it is received). The voucher code, the end date of the voucher, the discount which applies to the voucher and, if applicable, the minimum purchase price and the maximum discount, will be set out in 'My eBay' on eBay.co.uk and on the voucher itself. If the prize is not redeemed, it will lapse and no compensation will be offered to the eligible entrant.
8. Entrants shall be responsible for ensuring that the contact details associated with the eBay account they are entering with are up to date and accurate so they can be contacted if they win.
9. The adjudicator’s decision is final in all cases and no communication will be entered into.
10. If eBay has suspicions or knowledge that any entrant/nominated person has been involved in any fraudulent or illegal activity, eBay reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and any related entrants.
11. eBay may also disqualify any entrant that does not act in accordance with these terms and conditions and/or eBay 's rules and policies.
12. In the event of circumstances arising, which in eBay's opinion make it necessary to suspend, change or cancel the Promotion, eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the Promotion at any time. This includes the ability to substitute a prize, which is, in eBay’s reasonable opinion, of equivalent value, change the specification of the prize if circumstances require it or change the entry procedures from an online form to an email format.
13. The law of England and Wales governs the Promotion. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the eBay.co.uk User Agreement.
14. eBay shall not be liable, in contract or tort (including negligence) or the breach of statutory duty or in any other way, for the loss or damage howsoever arising suffered by the entrant resulting directly or indirectly from entry to this Promotion. Nothing in these terms shall limit eBay's liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
15. eBay does not accept, and is not responsible for, any lost or delayed entries. Although eBay will use reasonable efforts to ensure that all information relating to the Promotion ("Promotional Material") is accurate, eBay reminds entrants of the nature and limitations of the Internet and is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software that may affect entry to the Promotion, operation of the Promotion or the site, including without limitation the accuracy of any Promotional Material.
16. eBay may use third parties to facilitate one or more elements of the Promotion and we may provide some of your personally identifiable information to them. These third party service providers are subject to confidentiality agreements with us and other legal restrictions that prohibit the use of the information we provide them for any other purpose except to facilitate the specific outsourced eBay related operation. 17. eBay Europe S.a.r.l. is the organiser of the Promotion. eBay may carry out this organisation through its local subsidiaries.
