Why is eBay Plus ending on 30 June 2011?
eBay Plus was established in 2009 as a trial programme to test whether earning rewards for purchases made would be popular with our customers. Over the two years that the trial has run, we have looked at the effectiveness of the programme and listened to the participants' comments. As a result of this, we have decided to end the trial – whilst continuing to develop initiatives that reward our customers.

How much longer will I continue to earn eBay Plus points?
You will continue to earn eBay Plus points until 30 June 2011 based on your qualifying purchases.

When will I get my final voucher and when do I have to use it by?
The last eBay Plus voucher will be issued on 3 July 2011. Its value will be determined by your qualifying purchases between 1 April 2011 and 30 June 2011. You'll have until 2 August 2011 to redeem it. If you want to know which purchases qualify and how eBay Plus points are calculated, see the Terms and Conditions for the programme.

Will I earn eBay Plus points when I redeem my final voucher?
No, you won't earn any more eBay Plus points when you redeem your final voucher. You'll receive your final voucher on 3 July 2011 and have until 2 August 2011 to redeem it.

What will happen to the eBay Plus page?
The eBay Plus page (under the Buy section of My eBay) contains all important information regarding the end of eBay Plus. It will remain online and updated until 3 August 2011.

Is there anything I have to do?
No, eBay will take care of everything. All you need to do is to remember to redeem your final voucher by 2 August 2011.

Will I notice any changes to my eBay account?
You won't be able to accumulate eBay Plus points after 30 June 2011. In addition, we'll be removing the eBay Plus page from your 'My eBay' section after 2 August 2011 and you'll no longer see your points status. Everything else will remain the same.

What happens if I buy an item with my voucher and then return that item after August 3rd?
If you buy an item using your voucher and then return it after the redemption period, you will be issued a new voucher with expiration of 21 days. Please note that this voucher won't be visible anywhere on the site but will be applied automatically during checkout when you make a new purchase.

What is eBay Plus?
eBay Plus is a promotional rewards programme available to selected eBay UK members. It ends on 30 June 2011. Participants automatically earn rewards in the form of eBay Plus points, collected over three-month periods and based on qualifying purchases. eBay Plus points earned on eBay.co.uk are turned into discount vouchers at the end of each three-month period. The final voucher will be issued on 3 July 2011 and has to be redeemed by 2 August 2011.

Can I withdraw from the programme? If I opt out, what happens to my points?
You can choose to opt out at any time by clicking here. If you opt out, all the eBay Plus points you have earned will be permanently lost and no Rewards Voucher will be sent to you.

How do I earn eBay Plus Points?
Whenever you make a qualifying purchase between 1 April 2011 and 30 June 2011 on eBay.co.uk you'll automatically earn rewards in the form of eBay Plus points. eBay Plus points will be turned into a discount voucher that will be issued on 3 July 2011. You will have until 2 August 2011 to redeem it.

Do all my eBay purchases qualify?
Most purchases made on eBay.co.uk by 30 June 2011 qualify. But some restrictions apply. See Terms and Conditions.

For example, purchases that qualify to earn eBay Plus points must be:

• Purchased on eBay.co.uk
• Paid for with PayPal
• Paid for after you've sign up to the eBay Plus programme

Among other restrictions, purchases made in the following categories do not qualify:

All categories in Motors (www.motors.ebay.co.uk) except Parts & Accessories,
Classifieds,
Home & Garden > Residential Property, and
Business, Office & Industrial > Agriculture >Tractors and
Business, Office & Industrial > Restaurant & Catering > Catering Trailers

Please note that items purchased on other eBay sites such as eBay.com do not qualify for Plus points.

Are there any limitations on how many points I can earn?
Yes. You can earn points up to the following limits during the promotion:

• On any one item up to £10,000
• Up to a total qualifying spend of £20,000

Can I earn eBay Plus points while taking advantage of other promotions?
Yes, you may earn eBay Plus points in conjunction with most other promotions such as vouchers that we send out from time to time.

Can I combine the eBay Plus points I've earned with multiple eBay accounts?
While each of those accounts may be eligible to earn eBay Plus points, if invited you are not allowed to combine or transfer your points balance from one account to another This is the same for the eBay Plus voucher.

How can I check my points balance?
Your current balance is displayed at the top of any page on the eBay site (until 28 June 2011). You can also go to My eBay and click "eBay Plus" under the "Buy" heading in the left hand menu bar to see your points per purchase and current balance (until 2 August 2011).

Why does the display of my points in My eBay and at the top of each page on the eBay site show less than I expected?
The eBay Plus page in My eBay shows your activity for the current quarter, and the amount you've earned on purchases.

If your purchase has not been posted here yet, please wait 48 hours for it to clear. In the rare event that your purchase still doesn't post here after 48 hours, please contact Customer Service.

Some purchases may not qualify for eBay Plus or may be subject to a restriction. You may be able to identify these purchases as the amount in the earn column should be displayed as a hyperlink. Click that link to learn more about the reason for the restriction.

You should also know that from time to time, purchases may be subject to review, so what first appears as zero points earning could turn into the earn amount you expected.

What happens if I return an item?
Points won't be deducted as there is not going to be a next cycle.

If you buy an item using your voucher and return the item outside of redemption period, then a new voucher will be issued to you with expiration date as 21 days. This will not show up on site anywhere as My eBay page will be turned down by then but this apply automatically on your next purchase you make on eBay.

Why can't I see the "Plus" logo in checkout? It was there on the Item detail page?
Some sellers host their own checkout pages that integrate directly with eBay and PayPal. Since these pages are not managed by eBay, we cannot show you the "Plus" earn messaging. Since the Plus logo on the Item detail page was visible, you should still earn eBay Plus points for this transaction as long as you pay with PayPal and no other restrictions apply. When do I get my eBay Plus Voucher?
The last eBay Plus voucher will be issued on 3 July 2011. Its value will be determined by your qualifying purchases between 1 April 2011 and 30 June 2011. Where can I redeem my eBay Plus voucher?
You can redeem your voucher for any qualifying item on eBay.co.uk that offers PayPal as a payment method. See Terms and Conditions for details and restrictions.

How do I redeem my eBay Plus voucher?

To redeem your final eBay Plus voucher:

1. Start shopping on eBay.co.uk.
2. Pick something you love. Be sure the seller accepts PayPal.
3. Pay for your item with PayPal before the expiry date on your eBay Plus voucher.
4. During checkout, the eBay Plus voucher will automatically be applied for you. If you don't want to use eBay Plus for this purchase, just click the "remove" link. If, for some reason, the voucher code does not automatically appear, go to the eBay Plus page in My eBay and copy the code, then paste it into the redemption box during checkout.
5. If you don't use your voucher, you will lose it.

How long do I have to redeem my eBay Plus voucher?
Your eBay Plus voucher is valid for 30 days after it's been sent to you. Please check the eBay Plus page in My eBay for specific dates.

Can I give or sell my eBay Plus voucher to another member?
No, eBay Plus vouchers may only be redeemed by the member it was issued to. eBay Plus vouchers are non-transferable.

Should I mention eBay Plus in my item listings?
eBay Plus is available to a random selection of members. Since participation is by invitation only, many eBay members may not even know about the programme. We strongly discourage you from mentioning eBay Plus in your listings as some members may get confused and hesitate to buy from you.

How can I make sure that buyers can earn eBay Plus when they purchase my listing?
You must offer PayPal as a payment option, your items must not be in any of the restricted categories and the buyer must pay with PayPal.

Can buyers redeem their eBay Plus voucher on my listings?
Yes, however there are some restrictions, See Terms and Conditions for a complete list. For example, if you have a custom checkout process that is integrated with eBay or you use a third-party checkout provider then buyers may be able to redeem their eBay Plus voucher if your checkout integration uses either:

• PayPal CP Cart (any version)
• PayPal Express Checkout version 53.0 or above, with cart line item details
