When is it?

Between Tuesday the 1st of July 00:00:01 GMT to Tuesday the 15th of July 2008 23:59:59 GMT.

What is it?

From Tuesday the 1st of July to Tuesday the 15th of July 2008, registered business sellers who list one or more items in the Technology category using the Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats will pay a reduced Insertion Fee of 1 pence (£0.01) per item listed (“Promotional Insertion Fee”). Please see below for more details.

What’s included?

• Only items listed in British Pounds Sterling on eBay.co.uk, in the Technology category, using the Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) format, by registered business sellers (find out how to register as a business on eBay.co.uk) are included.
• Sellers can list items with any starting price to qualify for the promotion.
• Any item previously scheduled to go live between Tuesday the 1st of July and Tuesday the 15th of July 2008 will qualify for the promotion.
• If you re-list an item during the promotional period that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-listed item will qualify for the promotion. If the re-listed item sells and is eligible under the eBay re-list policy, eBay will refund the Insertion Fee at the Promotional Insertion Fee price of 1 pence.
• Items listed in the Mobile and Home Phones (excluding the Mobile Phones with Contracts sub-category), Computing, Consumer Electronics, and Photography Category are included.
• Multiple-Item listings in Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats. See the full details about Multiple-Item listings.

What's Excluded?

• All items listed in any category other than the Technology category are excluded from the promotion.
• All items listed by sellers not registered as a business on eBay.co.uk are excluded from the promotion.
• All items listed in any "Mobile Phones with Contracts" category are excluded from the promotion.
• All Items listed using the Auction-style and Auction-with-Buy It Now (Fixed Price) format are excluded from the promotion.
• Identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy. See the full details about our Duplicate Listings policy
• Shops Inventory Format listings. See the full details about listing items using the Shops Inventory Format.
• Any items listed using the Classified Ads format.
• Any item listed during the promotional period but scheduled to start after the promotional period will NOT qualify for the promotion.
• Any items listed which do not comply with eBay’s Listing Policies or prohibited and Restricted Items Policies.
• Only the basic eBay Insertion Fee will be 1 pence. All other eBay fees will still apply, including but not limited to Final Value Fees, optional Reserve Price Fees and all Listing Upgrade Fees such as "Gallery", "Subtitle", "Bold" or "Highlight". See the full details about eBay fees.

General terms

• If the item is listed in 2 categories, only Insertion Fee applicable to the Technology category will be available at the promotional price of 1p.
• If the item qualifies for the promotion, the "Sell Your Item" form will indicate to the seller that they have been charged the Insertion Fee of 1 pence.
• Please be aware that items listed during the promotional period will not be shown by default on the eBay.com site.
• Items which are listed with a reserve price will be excluded from this promotion.
• The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into
• eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.

Please note: For sellers listing with any tool other than the latest version of the Sell Your Item form (SYI 3.0) the promotional price will not be shown during the listing process. Instead the discount will be reflected in the "View Account Status" section in My eBay, as well as in your next invoice.
