For the entire day of Wednesday 20 September 2006 (local UK time), sellers listing items using the Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) format in an eligible category will pay a reduced 5 pence (£0.05) Insertion Fee per item listed. Please see below for more details.
Wednesday 20 September between 00:00:01 BST and 23:59:59 BST.
- Only items listed in British Pounds Sterling on eBay.co.uk using the Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) format will qualify for the promotion.
- Any item previously scheduled to go live on Wednesday 20 September will qualify for the promotion.
- If you re-list an item on Wednesday 20 September that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-list will qualify for the promotion. If the re-listed item sells and is eligible under the eBay re-list policy, eBay will refund the Insertion Fee at the promotional price of 5 pence.
- Items listed in the 'Parts & Accessories' sub category of the 'Cars, Parts & Vehicles' category.
- Sellers can list items with any starting price to be included in the promotion.
- Please note: To sell with Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) format you must either have 10 or more feedback or, if you have a PayPal account, you need to have 5 or more feedback.
- Items listed in the 'Cars' and 'More Vehicles' sub categories of the 'Cars, Parts & Vehicles' category, apart from the 'Parts & Accessories' sub category (as detailed in the 'What's Included?' section above).
- Items listed in the Property category.
- Items listed in the 'Mobile Phones with Contract' sub category of the Mobile & Home Phones category.

- Any items listed which do not comply with our Listing Policies or Prohibited Items policies.
- Any item listed on 20th September 2006 but scheduled to start after the promotion has finished will NOT qualify for the promotion.
- Only the basic eBay Insertion Fee will be reduced to 5 pence. All other eBay selling fees will still apply, including but not limited to Final Value Fees, optional Reserve Price Fees and all Listing Upgrade Fees such as "Gallery", "Subtitle", "Bold" or "Highlight". - If the item is listed in 2 categories, the Insertion Fee will be 5 pence times 2 i.e. 10 pence.
- Please note: Even though the "Sell Your Item" form may show you have been charged the full Insertion Fee, if your item is eligible you will see from the "My Account" section of "My eBay" that the promotional fees have been applied to your listing.
