• Only listings in British Pounds Sterling on eBay.co.uk will qualify for the five pence Insertion Fee promotion. Auction-style listings, Auction-with-Buy It Now and Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats only.
• Any item previously scheduled to go live on Thursday 12th January 2006 will qualify for the five pence Insertion Fee promotion.
• If you re-list an item on Thursday 12th January that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-list will qualify for the five pence Insertion Fee promotion.

• Items listed in the Automotive (Cars, Classic Cars, Motorcycles or Other Vehicles) and Property categories.
• Multiple-Item listings in all formats (also known as Dutch Auctions)
• Identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy.
• Shops Inventory Format listings.
• Any item listed on 12th January 2006 but scheduled to start after the promotion has finished will NOT qualify for the five pence Insertion Fee promotion.
• Only the basic eBay Insertion Fee will be reduced to five pence. All other eBay selling fees will still apply, including but not limited to Final Value Fees, optional Reserve Price Fees and all Listing Upgrade Fees such as "Bold" or "Highlight". Click here for full details of eBay fees

• If the listing is listed in two categories, the Insertion Fee will be five pence times two  i.e. 10 pence.
• If your item qualifies for this five pence Insertion Fee promotion, the "sell your item" form will show that a reduced Insertion Fee of five pence has been charged.
