**Please note**
Multiple item listings are included in Wednesday 7th March’s Free Postage Listing Day. Due to a technical issue this morning, some sellers have been charged the normal rate for multiple item listings despite being eligible for the promotion. Any seller who has been incorrectly charged will be refunded the difference between the normal and promotional rate before March 31st.

We are working to resolve the technical issue and would like to apologise for any confusion this has caused.

Succeeding on eBay is about standing out from the crowd. One way you can distinguish yourself is by offering free postage on your sales, allowing buyers to pay the price that they see in the listing pages.

If you've never tried listing with free postage before, the 5p Free Postage Listing Day on 7th March is a great chance to experiment and see if it works for you. You may be surprised by the results.

In the days after the 5p Free Postage Listing Day we'll be promoting items with free postage to buyers on the eBay.co.uk homepage and in email communications. We'll be directing buyers to a free postage hub where buyers they search for items with free postage. Your items will also be available in Search and Browse results.

To be eligible for the reduced insertion fee and free gallery make sure that you comply with the terms and conditions..

Points to note

  • This promotion includes items listed using the Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now and Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats but the Shops Inventory Format (SIF) is not included in the promotion.
  • When listing an item during the promotional period, sellers need to offer a genuine free postage option to all UK addresses to qualify for the promotion. If a seller offers a 'pick-up only' delivery option, their item will not qualify for the promotion.

  • Only the latest version of the "Sell Your Item" form will show the promotional fees that you will be charged. To start selling with the latest version click here. If you use the old version of the "Sell Your Item" form it will show that you have been charged the full Insertion Fee and Gallery Feature Fee. However, if your item is eligible, you will see from the "My account" section of "My eBay" that the promotional fees have been applied to the item you list.

  • All items listed during the promotional period will appear on the usual listing pages and in addition will be shown to members that conduct a 'free postage' search from the dedicated free postage hub.
