For the entire day of Thursday 19 October 2006 (local UK time), sellers listing using the Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats in an eligible category, will pay a reduced 10 pence (£0.10) Insertion Fee per item listed. Please refer to "What's Excluded?" for more details.
Thursday 19 October 2006 from 00:00:01 BST to 23:59:59 BST (promotional period).
- Only items listed in British Pounds Sterling on eBay.co.uk using the Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now and Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats are included.
- Any item previously scheduled to go live on Thursday 19th October will qualify for the promotion.
- If you re-list an item on Thursday 19th October that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-list will qualify for the promotion. If the re-listed item sells and is eligible under the eBay re-list policy, eBay will refund the Insertion Fee at the promotional price of 10 pence.
- Items listed in the 'Parts & Accessories' sub category of the Cars, Parts & Vehicles category.
- Sellers can list items with any starting price to qualify for the promotion.
Please note: To sell using the Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) format you must either have 10 or more feedback, or if you have a PayPal account, you need to have 5 or more feedback.
- Items listed in the 'Cars' and 'More Vehicles' sub categories of the Cars, Parts & Vehicles category, apart from the 'Parts & Accessories' sub category (as detailed in the "What's Included?" section above).
- Items listed in the Property category.
- Items listed in the 'Mobile Phones with Contract' sub category of the Mobile & Home Phones category.
- Multiple-Item listings in all formats. This includes both Auction-style (also known as Dutch Auctions) and Fixed Price formats. Click here for more information about Multiple-Item listings.

- Any items listed which do not comply with our Listing Policies or Prohibited Items policies.
- Any item listed on Thursday 19th October 2006 but scheduled to start after the promotion has finished will NOT qualify for the promotion.
- Only the basic eBay Insertion Fee will be reduced to 10 pence. All other eBay selling fees will still apply, including but not limited to Final Value Fees, optional Reserve Price Fees and all Listing Upgrade Fees such as "Gallery", "Subtitle", "Bold" or "Highlight". Sellers listing using the Auction-with-Buy It Now format will still be charged the Listing Upgrade Fee for Buy It Now.
- If the item is listed in 2 categories, the Insertion Fee will be 10 pence times 2 i.e. 20 pence.
- Please note: Even though the "Sell Your Item" form may show you have been charged the full Insertion Fee, if your item is eligible you will see from the "My Account" section of "My eBay" that the promotional fees have been applied to your listing.
