- All items for sale in Pounds Sterling (GBP) on eBay.co.uk, (other than those items or listings excluded below) in the following listing formats:
- Auction-style, or
- Auction with Buy-It-Now (BIN), or
- BIN-only (Fixed Price), or
- Shops Inventory Format,
- on Thursday 10th March 2005, between 00:00:01 and 23:59:59 GMT that has selected the Gallery listing enhancement option.
- Any category is included, including motor vehicles and properties.
- Any item previously scheduled to go live on Thursday 10th March 2005 will qualify for the promotion.
- All other eBay selling fees will still apply and be charged at their regular pricing including but not limited to insertion fee, final value fees, optional reserve price fees, and all other listing upgrade fees such as ?Bold? or ?Highlight?.
- ONLY the 'Gallery' listing upgrade fee will be offered at the reduced promotion price stated.
- Any item listed on 10th March 2005 but scheduled to start after the promotion has finished will NOT qualify for the promotion.

- Please note that the ‘Gallery’ listing upgrade is not the same as Gallery Featured
- Gallery listing upgrade is charged on a per item basis
- If an item is listed in 2 categories and Gallery listing upgrade is selected, the Gallery fee will be charged twice: i.e. 2 pence
- If you revise a qualifying listing created on 10th March at a later date, you will be charged the normal gallery fee, NOT the 1 pence promotional fee.
- On the Sell Your Item (SYI) form, and other selling tools, you will see that you are being charged the promotional price rather than the regular price.
- If you re-list an item on Thursday 10th March 2005 that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-list will qualify for the Penny Gallery promotion, inline with eBay's standard re-list policy.
- The Gallery listing upgrade fee is normally priced as follows:
- Regular items (Auction, Auction with BIN, BIN-Only) - £0.15
- Shops items (30 day, 90 day, Good til Cancelled) - £0.05
- The promotional price offered is £0.01
