Only listings in British Pounds Sterling on eBay.co.uk will qualify for the 10 pence (£0.10 GBP) insertion fee
Auction-style, Dutch (multiple items), auction-with-Buy It Now (BIN) and Fixed Price Buy It Now (BIN) formats
  • eBay Shops inventory format items are excluded
  • Items listed in Properties and certain Automotive categories (Cars, Classic Cars, Motorcycles and Other Vehicles) are excluded
  • Duplicate and wrong category listings will be removed if they contravene existing eBay Listing Policies.
  • If a listing is created in 2 categories it will qualify for the pricing promotion unless one or both of the categories are in the excluded categories list
The basic insertion fee will be 10 pence (£0.10 GBP) regardless of your starting price. All other eBay fees, including but not limited to feature fees such as Gallery, Bold, Reserve Price, Featured, Buy it Now or Final Value fees will still apply.
  • If your item is in the Auction with Buy It Now format, please note that the item will qualify for the 10 pence (£0.10 GBP) promotional price if the above conditions are met. However, please be aware that the feature fee for using the BIN feature (£0.06) itself will still be charged.
  • At the time of listing creation, you will see the discounted 10 pence (£0.10) charged
  • Previously-scheduled listings that go live on Thursday 26 August 2004 will qualify for the 10 pence insertion fee promotion
  • If you relist an item on Thursday 26th August 2004 that had previously closed with out a successful sale, the relist will qualify for the 10 pence (£0.10 GBP) insertion fee promotion
  • If you revise a qualifying listing created on 26th August 2004 at a later date (ie after 26th August 2004), you will be charged the normal insertion fee, NOT the 10 pence (£0.10 GBP) promotional fee.
  • If your item is listed in 2 qualifying categories, the total insertion fee charged will be 20 pence.
  • Items that qualify for this pricing promotion but then close without a successful sale will qualify for a relist credit if the seller relists the item and it subsequently closes with a sale, in line with eBay's standard relist policy
