What is it?

Between 23 October and 31 December 2007 inclusive (local UK time), sellers who list item(s) using the Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats in the Photography or Toys & Games categories will not be charged for using the gallery listing upgrade feature for each item they list. The gallery listing upgrade fee is normally priced at 15 pence per item listed when using the Auction style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats. In addition, between 23 October and 31 December 2007 inclusive (local UK time), sellers who list item(s) using the Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats in the Photography or the Toys & Games Categories will pay a reduced insertion fee for each item they list as shown in the table below:

When is it?

What's included?

• Only items listed in British Pounds Sterling on eBay.co.uk using the Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats.
• Only items listed in the Photography and Toys & Games Categories.
• Items which are listed on eBay.co.uk and sell on eBayexpress.co.uk
• Any item scheduled to go live between 23 October 2007 and 31 December 2007 inclusive.
• Sellers can list using the Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats, at any starting price.
• Multiple-Item listings in all formats. This includes both Auction-style (also known as Dutch Auctions) and Fixed Price formats. See the full details about Multiple-Item listings. Please note that Multiple-Item listings of £100 and above do not receive a reduction in Insertion Fees (as detailed in the "What is it?" section above).
• If sellers re-list an item between 23 October and 31 December that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-listed item will be included. If the re-listed item sells and is eligible under the eBay re-list policy, eBay will refund the insertion fee at the reduced insertion fee price detailed in the ‘What is it?’ section above.
• Sellers listing using the Auction-with-Buy It Now format will still be charged the Listing Upgrade Fee for Buy It Now.

What’s excluded?

• Items listed using the eBay Express Only format.
• Identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy. See the full details about our Duplicate Listings policy.
• Shops Inventory Format listings. See the full details about listing items in Shops Inventory Format.
• Any item listed between 23 October 2007 and 31 December 2007 inclusive but scheduled to start after this period.
• Any items listed which do not comply with our Listing Policies or Prohibited and restricted Items Policies.
• Only the cost of the gallery listing upgrade feature will be free. The insertion fee during the period between 23 October and 31 December will be reduced and the final value fee will be increased as detailed in the ‘What is it?’ section above. In addition, all other eBay selling fees will still apply as usual, including but not limited to optional Reserve Price Fees, Auction-with-Buy It Now upgrade fees and all other listing upgrade fees such as "Subtitle", "Bold" or "Highlight". Further Information

• If sellers list an item in both the Photography and the Toys & Games Categories, the gallery listing upgrade feature will be free for the item they list in both these Categories.
• If sellers list an item in either the Photography or the Toys & Games Categories and in addition list the same item in a second Category (that is not the Photography or the Toys & Games Category), the gallery listing upgrade fee will be free for the item they list in the Photography or the Toys & Games Category, and the gallery listing upgrade fee will be the full price i.e. 15 pence for the item they list in the second Category.
• If sellers list an item in either the Photography or the Toys & Games Categories and in addition list the same item in a second Category (that is not the Photography or the Toys & Games Category), the seller will be charged a reduced insertion fee (as detailed in the 'What is it?' section)section above) for the item they list in the Photography or the Toys & Games Category and will be charged the normal insertion fee (also as detailed in the 'What is it?' section)section above) for the item they list in the second Category.
